Why I’m building Infrascene.

I’m Carsten, and I’m building Infrascene to solve a problem I face in my own work. Coding agents can write a large change quickly. Understanding it still takes care, especially when you’re the person responsible for shipping it.

I believe working with agents will become a normal part of building software. PR Explainer helps me follow the change from the problem to the solution, with the code close at hand. I use it myself, and that experience shapes what I improve next.

If you try it, tell me where the explanation helps and where it leaves you guessing. A confusing diagram or a missing detail gives me something concrete to work on.

I also want it to cost less. A useful lesson needs a capable model to read the change and its surrounding code, which makes explanations more expensive today than I’d like. As model costs fall and I make Infrascene more efficient, I’ll pass those savings on through lower prices. My goal is a tool you can reach for whenever a change needs explaining.
